Do you remember the first time you made a phone call? Was it on a payphone, a landline, or your first cell phone? Who did you call?
People with very different backgrounds live in Düsseldorf. Some were born here; others have come from far away. The telephone connects us: to family and friends, to people in other countries—and to life in our city.
But what happens if your cell phone is lost, breaks, or is confiscated? Suddenly, you’re missing contacts, memories, a sense of direction, or important information.
"My First Time …" brings together people from Düsseldorf’s communities. We share stories, listen to one another, laugh, marvel—and discover what unites us.
This time, it's all about making phone calls. And, of course, much more.
